PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2020: The government will take back the money in the accounts of such beneficiaries, this is the reason

Every effort is being made to maintain transparency in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the largest farmer scheme of the Modi government.  The money that went into the wrong people's account is also being returned.  One more preparation has been made to make everything transparent.  Now 5 per cent farmers will be verified to know the eligibility of the beneficiaries.  The verification process will be headed by the district collector, the agriculture ministry said.

So if you are taking money by giving false information then be careful.  Either you get stuck in 5 percent physical verification or the money will be withdrawn from your account too loudly.  The government is trying to get the money into the hands of the right people.

There is a system at the district level for verification.  The ministry wants the nodal officer of the scheme in the states to regularly monitor the verification process.  An outside agency can also be involved if a need is felt.  Only people who have benefited will be tested.

The government has taken money back from so many people

As of December 2019, the government has withdrawn funds from the accounts of 1,19,743 beneficiaries in eight states.  There was no similarity between the names of the beneficiaries and their papers.  The money transaction process has been made more stringent under this scheme.  The verification process has been adopted.  So that such an incident does not happen again.

How will the verification take place?

Verification based on beneficiary data has also been required.  If a concerned agency does not find similarity with Aadhaar in the details received, it will have to amend or change the information of the beneficiaries of the concerned States or Union Territories.

The money is thus returned on the mess

The Union Ministry of Agriculture has written a letter to the states stating how their money will be returned if ineligible people are instructed to get greed.  According to Vivek Agarwal, CEO of the scheme, this is a big scheme and there is a high probability of disturbance.

If money is transferred to the account of ineligible people, it will be withdrawn from Direct Benefit Transfer.  The bank will deposit the money in a separate account and return it to the state government.  The state government will have to take back the money from the ineligible person and deposit it in https://bharatkosh.gov.in/.  People's names will be removed before the next installment is announced.

Find out who doesn't get the benefit

Former or current constitutional office bearers, current ministers, mayors, district panchayat chairpersons, MLAs, MLCs, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs will not get money even if they are farming.
