Today's Positive Story:The engineer built an electric bicycle after his brother insisted on giving him a scooter, now he earns Rs 1 lakh a month from the startup of 'Odo Bike'.

Vivek first decided to start an electric bike startup, but could not start due to lack of investment.
Started an electric bicycle startup in 2019 under the name 'Odo Bike'.

"The use of petrol and diesel in vehicles is hurting the environment and its prices have skyrocketed, so I have started an electric bicycle startup to save the environment and afford people's pockets. Started under the name 'Odo Bike', this startup has been successful. I want to make Odo Bike the country's pioneer company in electric vehicles and build a dealer market in India and globally. I am currently researching to make electric bikes and scooters. ' These are the words of Vivek Pagena, a 25-year-old electrical engineer who started an electric bicycle in Vadodara ...

Vivek Jayeshbhai Page, who first built an electric bike in a college project and lived in Sarabhai Society on Gotri Road in Vadodara, studied electrical engineering in 2017 from Babaria Institute near Vadodara. In the final year project of the college, Vivek prepared an electric bike and put it on display, where a panel of judges highly praised Vivek's project and asked him to take the project forward, so Vivek took his electric bike to Sayaji startup. Even there, Anne's electric bike project was highly acclaimed. From here begins Vivek's conflicting journey ...

"I had no marketing experience when I built the electric bike, but I decided to start a startup called Flash Motorbike," said Vivek Page, a Vivek engineer who started the first startup due to lack of investment . However due to lack of investment I had to drop out before starting this project. I then worked as a design engineer for 2 years, where I designed electric panels.

The pictures of this bicycle I posted on social media started getting inquiries for bicycles from relatives and friends, my mama working as CFO in a Dubai company called me in Dubai to make a bicycle for his company and I prepared an electric bicycle for that company. Where I came up with the idea of going back to India and starting an electric bicycle startup.

Vivek Page said that after coming to India from Dubai, he started a company called 'Pedo Electra', but did not get a track mark under that name. Did. I received the largest order of 10 bicycles to be rewarded to the riders at Garba of United Way of Baroda. Then I started selling electric bicycles on online shopping platforms. Thus, slowly my bicycle sales started growing, getting 3 to 4 orders a day. Although sales were down in the Corona lockdown, I decided to pursue my startup without giving up.

"Currently, my electric bicycle is sold in West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Delhi and the southern states," he said. The Odo bike startup currently earns Rs 1 lakh a month. 3 people have joined me in my team. Nikhilbhai Suthar of Vadodara Startup Studio helped me a lot to start a startup.

Electric bicycles are sold in the states of West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Delhi and the South.

BREAKING / State Government may take important decision to start schools, if not Korona Nadyo will start this month

Pollutants do not come out of the batteries of the electric bicycles I have made: Vivek
, while talking about saving the environment, says that people know about electric vehicles and people have raised the issue of saving the environment. I also want to give my share in saving the environment. Lead acid batteries usually emit carbon dioxide, but the batteries we use in my electric cycle do not emit pollutants.

Speaking of the future, he says, "I want to make Odo Bike the country's pioneer company in electric vehicles." I want to build a dealer market in India and globally. Demand for electric bicycles is growing in Dubai and the US and India's market is huge after China, which makes the future of electric vehicles look very bright for young Indian entrepreneurs.

While the Gujarat government has also announced a subsidy for electric vehicles, now we are also working on research to make electric bikes. However we are currently trying to win the trust of the people.

The story of a couple who returned from the US and started a food truck business in India, earning an annual income of Rs 1.5 crore.

Today's Positive Story: The story of a couple who returned from the US and started a food truck business in India, earning an annual income of Rs 1.5 crore.

Satya and Jyoti, who were working in the US, had a passion for starting their own business, starting in 2012 with a food truck.
Sells South Indian food, employs 20 people today, extends work from Delhi to Gurugram

Satya and Jyoti lived in the US. Satya was working in the e-commerce sector there, Jyoti was also in the job. The two returned to India a few years later. His intention was to start his own food business. He started the business not with a big restaurant-hotel, but with a food truck. Today they have three food trucks and an annual turnover of one and a half crore. Also giving jobs to twenty people. Satya shared with us the full story of her business.

Went to US to do Masters, learned value of money there went to US to
do Masters after Engineering. Took a little loan for study expenses, thought of managing some money by doing a part time job there. After arriving in the US I saw that there we have to do all our work ourselves. There are no parents, no relatives and the same thing that makes us understand life. Understand the value of money.

I was also learning all this from a part-time job with study. Then I started working in the e-commerce sector. Then we met Jyoti and we got married in 2008. After the wedding we returned to India. Jyoti's father is a businessman. They work in the logistics sector, so Jyoti had a good understanding of transport, bus-truck.

There were no shops around the office, that's where Idea
came from. After coming to India, the office of the company he was working for was in Okhla. There was nothing to eat or drink around. The South Indian was not far away.

Seeing all that, Jyoti thought that when we start work, we will do it from here. After doing a lot of research we decided to start our own food truck, as there was not much investment and no big risk. He also thought earlier that he would keep South Indian food.

In 2012 we launched the first food truck as an experiment. Buy a second hand truck. Picked it up from the inside. Found a good chef by giving advertisements in newspapers and started working. He installed a food truck in Okhla and kept only South Indian food in it. From day one, our business started to run well. Most of the offices were where we parked the truck. People came to eat and drink, but after two months the business went downhill, as some offices closed there and some people left their jobs.

Didn't understand why to increase the number of customers.
Now we didn't understand how to get new customers. Meanwhile, I was working when Jyoti quit her job and was focusing on full time business. This went on for a few days. Then send us our Mentor S. L. Ganapati advised that 'you have no hotel or restaurant. If you have a food truck, if customers don't come to you, you go to customers. ' Following his advice, we arrived at his apartment one Sunday with a food truck. Within three hours all our items were sold out.

Now we understand how to engage people with our product. Along with this I also adopted many other strategies, but I don’t want to disclose that here. We were serving delicious food like home in our food truck. They were giving items like Rava Dhosa, Tomato Onion Uttapam, Menduvada, Filter Coffee, Malabar Paratha. This is not easily found in Delhi and we had a specialty in it, as we are South Indians.

From 2012 to 2014, our business was running smoothly. If the people of the house also got involved in it, everyone would get help. I also quit my job in 2014, as the business needed to be given more time to grow. In 2014 alone we bought more of a food truck. Now we had two trucks. We also explored new areas for business, such as caterers in Delhi taking orders for big parties, but no one taking orders for smaller parties. We also started taking party orders with up to 30 people. It also boosted our customer base and revenue. Gradually began offering services in weddings and even incorporates.

Now we have three food trucks. We are hiring 20 people. We are providing services from Delhi to Gurgaon. We will soon spread our work to Noida. Turnover reached Rs 1.5 crore in the last financial year. In the lockdown when people were afraid to eat out we started taking orders of snacks and also packing and delivering it. All I want to say to those who want to get into business is that if you don't get success many times in the beginning, don't panic and stop working, but stick to what you think. You will find the success you need.

Today's Positive Story

Today's Positive Story:The father used to make pickles and give them as gifts to relatives. The daughter came from London and started her own business. The turnover reached one crore in three years.

Neharika, who lives in Delhi and runs a pickle business, studied in London.

Nebula currently produces more than 50 varieties of pickles, with the highest demand for mango and jaggery pickles, mixing jaggery instead of sugar.

His team employs 15-20 people, 13 of whom work in farming and pickling in Khajuraho, while the rest handle marketing and packaging work in Gurgaon.

Niharik Bhargava grew up in Delhi, after which he did a Masters in Marketing Strategy and Innovation from London. He got a job in a multinational company, he also had a good salary, but he did not feel like a job and quit his job within a year. In 2017 he launched a pickle making startup.

Today we have our own farm of 50 acres, where all the products used to make pickles are grown organically. More than 30 tons are being produced every year. Last year, his company's turnover was Rs one crore.

After graduating from Delhi University, Neharika, 27, obtained a master's degree in marketing strategy and innovation from London in 2015, after which she returned to India and started working for a multinational company in Gurgaon.

After leaving the job, Neharika launched a pickling startup in 2017.

Niharik says, "I always wanted to start my own business, but I never thought of making pickles. Dad was fond of making pickles. He used to make pickles and give them as gifts to relatives. .

He says, one day I said to Dad, why don't you do pickle business, then Dad started laughing and said I have done what I had to do, now it is up to you. I thought the work was good, but there was some doubt as to whether the pickle business would work, as pickles are made in almost every home. "

Niharika then started doing research on the pickle market. Talking to many people, I realized that there is a huge demand for pure and home-made pickles. There are a large number of people who do not like pickles found in the market, but buy out of compulsion. Then, he turned his father's passion into his profession and started learning to make pickles.

The nebula team consists of 15-20 people, most of whom are women, working to prepare pickles.

"Initially, we used to set up our pickle stalls in Delhi and its environs where there were exhibitions. The response was good. After that, we started offering pickles in the local market as well," says Niharika.

Meanwhile, he went to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, where his father had taken land for farming, but no special work was done there. I really liked the place. I thought why not all the products used in pickles should be grown on the farm here, which will further my business and people will also get pure pickles.

Neharika further said, "On our farm we planted many plants including mango, mango, lemon, turmeric, ginger, chilli which were used in making pickles. We also hired some people there.

There were also some women who made pickles. From there pickles were prepared and brought to Delhi and sold in the market. Demand gradually increased. People started getting calls from other cities as well. Then in 2017 we started a company called The Little Farm in Gurgaon and also started selling products online. Started. "

Nebula currently does organic farming on 50 acres of land, growing everything from fruits, vegetables and chilies, which are used to make pickles.

Neharika says that we did not take any training from outside to make pickles, I was taught by my father. I'm still learning. We people are constantly researching and experimenting on how to make pickles better and healthier.
