The Prime Minister made the announcement
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech on August 15 announced the availability of sanitary napkins at Rs. Earlier, the BJP had made this promise in its 2019 manifesto, which the government is now fulfilling.

Starting today, these biodegradable napkins under the name 'Suvidha' will be made available in 5500 folk medicine centers across the country.
