Letter to Modi on NEET-JEE: 150 teachers from home and abroad write to PM: Delay in exams will jeopardize students' future, some are pursuing political agenda

150 teachers from home and abroad universities have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding NEET-JEE exams. He said that if the exams were delayed, it might compromise with the students' careers. Some are playing a game with the longer term of the scholars within the wake of their political agenda.

Concerns over admissions and classes got to be addressed

We are confident that the govt are going to be ready to conduct JEE-NEET exams with security and therefore the academic calendar for 2020-21 also will be announced

Chief ministers of seven states want to avoid exams

The JEE-Mains and NEET exams between Corona have now become a drag of opposition against the govt... The chief ministers of seven states, led by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, on Wednesday demanded that the exams be avoided.

 West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said all the states have gone to the Supreme Court together. it had been then decided that a review petition would be filed within the Supreme Court. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren asked to satisfy the President before leaving the court.

The JEE Mains exam was scheduled for April 7-11 and thus the NEET for May 3, although it had been avoided 2 times because of Corona. now's the September schedule. The Supreme Court has rejected an application to avoid these examinations for an extended period. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Tuesday that the exams will now be held at the scheduled time i.e. JEE from September 1 to September 6 and NEET on September 13. States opposing the exams, on the other hand, have argued that these exams aren't appropriate given Corona's condition.
