• Under this scheme, more than 56 lakh farmers of the state who have suffered losses in kharif crops are eligible to get benefits such as groundnut, cotton, castor etc.
• The scheme covers three types of hazards like drought, heavy rains and unseasonal rains i.e. Mavthu.
• Farmers are entitled to benefit from this scheme without paying any premium.
• SDRF is also eligible for this benefit.
• All 8-A account holders registered in the State Revenue Records will be covered
• If the percentage of crop loss in Kharif season is 33-60, they are eligible for assistance of Rs 20,000 per hectare and it will be given within the limit of 4 hectares.
• If your crop is damaged by more than 60%, you are entitled to Rs 25,000 per hectare

How to avail of the benefits of the scheme?
* In case of crop damage due to drought, heavy rains, or unseasonal rains, a list of villages or talukas will be prepared by the Collector.
* In case of an incident, it will be sent for approval by the Revenue Department of the State Government.
* The revenue department of the state government will approve the benefit of the scheme within 7 days of receiving the proposal.

Which form to fill?
You have to fill-up the form with the Sarpanch of the village or Talati Krum Mantri or VC to avail the benefit of this scheme.
