India's most magnificent temple: Tidupati-like Yadadri temple is being built in Telangana at a cost of Rs 1,800 crore; With most of the work completed, the launch date could be announced this month






 


The most ambitious dream of the Telangana government is about to come true. Compared to Tirupati Balaji of Andhra Pradesh, the construction of Yadadri Lakshmi-Nrusinha Swami temple in Telangana is almost 90% complete. Construction is currently underway around the temple. Its launch is expected to be announced in September. In 2016, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao started working on a plan to build a temple similar to Tirupati for Telangana, as Tirupati did not come to Telangana after secession from Andhra.


The Yadadri temple of mythological significance is being given a grand look at a cost of Rs 1800 crore. All the gates and walls of the temple will be inlaid with 39 kg of gold and about 17,53,000 kg of silver. This will be the largest temple made of granite stone in India. It uses 2.5 lakh tonnes of granite stone. The Telangana government's earlier plan was to launch it in March 2020, but it was delayed due to Corona. The date of inauguration of the temple will be announced by the Chief Minister himself.


This temple is also called Yadadrigirigutta temple. Located about 60 km from Hyderabad in Yadadri Bhubaneswar district, the temple had an area of ​​9 acres, for which an area of ​​1900 acres has been purchased at a cost of Rs 300 crore. For this, engineers and architects have worked on about 1500 maps and plans, out of which the design of this temple has been finalized. The design was made by Anand Sai, a renowned architect from Hyderabad and art director of South Indian film.

Yadadri temple is mentioned in Skanda Purana. Legend has it that Yad Rishi, the son of Maharshi Rishyasrunga, did penance here to please Lord Vishnu. Pleased with his warmth, Vishnuji appeared in the form of Narsingh. After hearing the prayers of Maharshi Yadav, Lord Narsingh became enthroned here in three forms. The only meditative mythical Narusimha statue in the world is located in this temple.

There are three idols of Lord Narasimha in a cave. Also, there is mother Lakshmi. The cave is about 12 feet high and 30 feet long and has statues of Jwala Narusinha, Gandhabhiranda Narusinha and Yogananda Narusinha. Its reconstruction was started under the guidance of Vaishnava saint Chinna Jiyar Swami. The construction is being done on the principles of Agam, Vastu and Pancharath Shastras, which are very popular in South India.

156 feet high copper Hanuman statue: -

A large statue of Lord Hanumanji is being erected at the entrance of Yadadri temple area. In this temple, along with Lakshmi-Narsingh, there is also a temple of Hanumanji. Because of this Hanumanji is considered to be the main guardian deity of the temple. The statue is erected on a stand of about 25 feet, it can be seen from many kilometers away. The grandeur of the temple can be estimated from the height of the statue.

Highest Rajagopuram, Glimpses of 5 Civilizations: -


The main gate of the temple called Rajagopuram will be about 84 feet high. Apart from this there will be 6 other gates of the temple. The architecture of Rajagopuram will have a glimpse of 5 civilizations - Dvavid, Pallava, Chola, Chalukya and Kakatiya.


Like Tirupati Laddu Prasadam Complex: -


Like Tirupati, laddu prasadam will also be found in the Yadadri temple. A separate complex is being prepared for it, where arrangements will be made for everything from construction to packing of laddu prasadam.

Facilities like cafeteria in Q complex: -


A Q complex is being constructed for darshan in the temple, which will be about 12 meters high. It will have a cafeteria-like facility including a cest room. Work is underway to make it as convenient as possible for passengers.


Meals for 10 thousand people daily for food offerings: -


There will be perfect arrangements for food offerings. Meals will be prepared for about 10 thousand people every day. As the number of devotees increases, so will the provision of food offerings. Apart from this, there will also be prasadi counters at various places in the temple premises.

The stone used for the construction of the temple can withstand all kinds of environments. There will be no change in its original form. This stone can remain in this condition for about 1000 years, special care has been taken.
