Today in history: India's heroic grandson Captain Vikram Batra would be 46 years old today; Aligarh Muslim University is 100 years old
Lieutenant Vikram Batra, the great-grandson of Bharat Mata, was born in 1974 in Palampur. At the time when the enemy occupied the hills of Kargil, the army was stationed in 12 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles.
