Fierce fire again in Surat: Fire in Dwarka House damages building structure, both sealed due to lack of fire system in Kabra House, fire damages more than Rs 3 crore in the quantity of saris

A fire broke out at Dwarka House (a place to store ready-made sari) in the Begumpura area of ​​the city at midnight. The fire was so fierce that even the adjoining Kabra House was engulfed in flames and the amount of sari stored on the first and second floors was burnt to ashes. Two tempos filled with a quantity of sari were also burnt in the mishap after the blaze. 


Five floors of two houses were gutted in the fire. According to the fire officer, Dwarka and Kabra houses have been sealed due to lack of fire system.




 It may be mentioned here that 17 vehicles from seven fire stations reached the spot and managed to control the fire in three floors within 5 hours after a great effort. However, the fire is estimated to have caused more than Rs 3 crore in damage and severe damage to the structure of the Dwarka House building. No casualties were reported in the blaze.

explosion was heard: The onlooker Deepakbhai (Putha trader) said that my goods arrived at night, which were being delivered. Suddenly a loud bang was heard, running away, flames were coming out of the Dwarka house. Immediately informed the fire and power company by phone. By then the flames had fallen on two tampas filled with park sarees in the parking lot and both tampas had burned right in front of my eyes. The Kabra House next door was engulfed in flames before a fire truck arrived. However, a very large accident could have been avoided if the fire truck had run within minutes.

7 Fire station vehicles arrived at the scene, the
fire department said, adding that the fire department received a call around midnight on Sunday. In Begampura, 3 floors along the ground were reported to be on fire. After the incident was reported, 17 vehicles of 7 fire stations of the fire department immediately rushed to the spot, where 3 floors and terraces along the ground in Dwarka House were burning. The fire was so fierce that all the firefighters rushed to the spot and put out the fire in 5 hours.

The fire department managed to contain the blaze in a 5-hour effort.

The fire was estimated
to have cost crores of rupees, adding that the fire at Dwarka House also engulfed two sari-laden Tampas and two floors of the adjoining Kabra House, destroying the amount of sari placed in both the house and in Tampa. It can be said that more than Rs 3 crore has been lost in this accident. However, this figure is likely to increase. An investigation after the fire was brought under control revealed that the building structure of Dwarka House was also badly damaged.
