Like every Diwali, firecrackers can be set off from 10 pm to 6 am but it is forbidden to set them together.

The National Green Tribunal has sought a reply from the Gujarat government by sending a notice banning the firing of fireworks during the Diwali festival. However, the Gujarat government is not in the mood to ban firecrackers like Blanket Benn. The Gujarat government is going to reply to the tribunal accordingly.

According to reliable sources in the Gujarat government, Garba was banned as there was a risk of social discrimination in large numbers during Navratri.
