The report says 11% of households bought new phones during the lockdown. 80% of them also bought smartphones so that children could study at home. Even 13% of families who do not have a smartphone said that their children use someone else's smartphone.

biggest impact of corona is on young children. Parents are taking no risk for them. This is the reason why the percentage of children between the ages of 6 and 10 who have not been enrolled in school has increased in 2020 as compared to 2018.
When the team of Impact 2020 asked the parents of the children, they raised the question in front of them - the school is closed, even if we enroll in it, how to do it? That means most of the children are waiting for admission in schools. Especially in the age group of 6-10 years.

The impact report says that more families now have smartphones in 2020 than in 2018. In 2018, 29.6% of children in government schools had at least one smartphone in their families, an increase from 56.4%. Thus half of the children in private schools had smartphones in their families, which has now increased to three-quarters.
Smartphones are now more in the families of children than ever before, making it possible to study in lockdown. Thus about 40 percent of children did not have a smartphone, of which 11 percent bought a mobile for a child’s study during the lockdown.
More than 80% of them also bought smartphones. About 13% of those who do not have a smartphone said that children are studying by taking a smartphone from an acquaintance.
