A curfew has been imposed in Ahmedabad from 9 pm tonight to 6 am on Monday due to increasing cases of corona. Cases are on the rise in the city yet people are not serious. Crowds of people had gathered at the city's Kalupur vegetable market since this morning. Here Corona's guideline flew straight. Crowds of people and traders were seen at the vegetable market with fears that the market would close and the vegetables would not reach small traders.

Even though social distance is a distant thing here, there are scenes where people are pushing and shoving. The curfew in the city, on the other hand, has spread fear among the people. People have been out since morning to pick up items including groceries. Fearing curfew in the city, Jodhpur and Shyamal De Mart have lined up to buy essentials.

Once again the crowd in such a vegetable market can be responsible for spreading the transition of corona and the super spreader. Even during the Diwali festival, such large markets were crowded.



 The elite market of Laldarwaja where the estate department of the corporation and Karanj police took installments and continued the whole market. No fines or cases were reported despite moving without social distance and masks. Today once again the markets are getting crowded which needs to be stopped.





In the
last two days , the corporation has closed the Panipuri, Kankaria Aunty's Panipuri shop near the famous Parsi Agiyari in the Maninagar area due to a crowd gathering. The Burger King near Wide Angle on the SG Highway has also been sealed for not following social distances. Teams of Solid Waste Management from different areas are taking action to comply with Corona's guideline. Crowds gathered at all the shops, lari gallas and other places before and during the Diwali festival.

Thousands
thronged to shop at the festival, but no action was taken. The Municipal Corporation and the Karanj Police did not take any action despite the media coverage of the crowds and the social distance. Not a single police case was filed by Karanj PI against the people. The pressure was not even removed by the estate department of the municipal corporation.
