Opposition to Agriculture Act LIVE: Police stop farmers from Punjab-Haryana at Delhi border, seek permission to make 9 stadiums temporary jail
Today is the second day of Punjab-Haryana farmers' protest against the Centre's agricultural law. Farmers marching from Punjab to Delhi could not be stopped by police water cannons, roadblocks, and tear gas canisters. Farmers are constantly moving forward. At 2.30 pm, it was about 8 km from the Kundli border from Delhi.
"All the barricades in Haryana have been demolished, now we will have breakfast in Delhi on Friday," he said. Police today again released the teargas cell, but the farmers have gone to Jeddah to enter Delhi. "We are protesting peacefully," he said. Continuing this, we will enter Delhi. The demonstration should be allowed in a democracy.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar appealed to the farmers to end the agitation, saying they will be talked to on December 3, but the farmers are adamant." All three of them are demanding the withdrawal of the Centre's agriculture bill. To stop the farmers, the police have parked the truck horizontally at the Delhi border. There is a long traffic jam at the border.
People took to the farm roads, the roads in Delhi were closed even today and
people were annoyed by the closure of the National Highway. Traffic was diverted at several places on the Punjab-Haryana highway. People were forced to go to the farm road. Roads to Delhi will remain closed even today.
On GT Road in Karnal, the farmers sat down to eat on the road. This led to a long jam.
Chandigarh-Delhi highway was closed due to a farmers' agitation in which Delhi air tickets worth Rs 3,000 were sold for Rs 35,000 . Due to this, tickets for flights from Chandigarh to Delhi became more than 1000 per cent more expensive. Air Vistara sold 3 thousand tickets for 35 thousand. Air India said it would be able to reschedule passengers whose flights were canceled on Thursday due to farmers' protests. Travelers will get this facility under 'No Show Waver'.
