The Eco Retreat Festival kicks off, running through February 28th

Like Gujarat's Ranotsav, Odisha has launched the Eco Retreat Festival, which will run till February 28. Apart from Ramchandi Beach in Konark, 145 cottages have been set up at Hirakund Water Reserve in Sambalpur, hill station Daringbadi in Kandhamal district, Bhitarkanika National Park and Satkosia Tiger Reserve, where tourists will get five-star facilities.

The camp is completely environmentally friendly. The use of plastic is prohibited here. The most special thing is that every tourist has to plant a tree at a certain place near the tent before leaving the camp. The festival has 4 types of cottages. The Presidential Cottage is the most royal tent, with 2 bedrooms, king size bed, private dining area, dressing room, royal sofaset and other luxury facilities.
