The Serum Institute is developing a vaccine called Covishield. Developed by Oxford University and Pharma AstraZeneca. Bharat Biotech, a maker of the indigenous vaccine Covexin in addition to the Serum Institute, made a presentation to the panel on Wednesday. At the same time, the American company Pfizer has asked for more time to present its data.

panel. After getting the approval from the expert panel, the application of the companies will go to the Drug Controller General of India for final approval. The government is preparing to start vaccinations this month. For which a dry run of vaccine will be conducted all over the country tomorrow i.e. on 2nd January. The meeting is going to be held a day before the dry run.
