1.40 lakh Job Vacancies In Railways - Apply Online

According to a website, the railways has 72274 posts in the safety category and 68366 posts in the non-safety category. Online forms have been requested for all the posts. Earlier, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) had issued vacancies for Act Apprentices in Eastern Railways. Railways has sought applications for 2792 posts in this vacancy. Candidates can apply for this vacancy till 9th July 2020.

You have to apply online to join this recruitment process. The online application process has resumed on June 25, 2020. No examination will be held for this post. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit.

10th standard should have 50% marks

Candidates should have at least 50% marks in 10th standard before applying for this vacancy. Candidates should also have a National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT / SCVT. In addition, National Trade Certificate with 8 passes is required for the posts of Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Lineman, Wireman, Carpenter, Painter (General).

Maximum age of 24 years

The maximum age to apply for the posts is 24 years and the minimum is 15 years. The age limit will be 5 years for SC / ST, 3 years for OBT-NCL candidates and 10 years for PWBD candidates. All selection will be based on merit. Marks of 10th, 8th and ITI will be seen for this.

An application fee of Rs 100 will be payable for applying. However no fee will be charged from SC, ST, PWBD and women. Fees will be paid through net banking, credit-debit card etc.
