Monsoon-ridden Gujarat

Gujarat sparkling with monsoons: It has been standing amidst greenery for 360 years. At a height of 1100 feet, this Hingolgadh fort is named after Hinglaj Mata.

The people of Hingolgadh seem to be greeted with an elevated head reminiscent of that time, like a peacock's bouquet on a high mound, surrounded by lush green sheets. Such a fighting stronghold would hardly be in Saurashtra. From a distance, Hingolgadh seems to be talking to the sky. The fortress is 335 meters (1100) feet above sea level. Numerous bushes grow all around to adorn the fort. The fort is named Hingolgarh after Hingral Mata. The fort built on the top of a high hill is still Benmoon.

Hingolgadh was established in the year 1801
Hingolgarh is 78 km away from Rajkot and 18 km from Jasdan with a natural education center. Hingolgarh is a heritage of historical heritage. The fortress built on the top of a high hill is still Benmoon today. The fort was established in the year 1801 by Vajsur Khacher, the king of Jasdan. Vajsur Khachar Mata was a devotee of Higlaj, so he established Hinglaj Mata and named the fort Hingolgadh after Hinglaj Mata.

Opposite the fort is the Natural Education Center
Such a fighting stronghold would hardly be in Saurashtra. Below the opposite side of the fort is the Natural Education Center of Hingolgarh. This natural learning center is spread over a wide area. Students from far and wide come here to get natural education. Different species of snakes are kept in the center. There is also a python.

Arrangements for overnight stay inside the Natural Education Center As the surrounding area is a hilly forest area, herbivores such as rose, nilgai, deer etc. roam. Tanks have been built to stay overnight inside the Natural Education Center. Bhimkui is located in the Natural Education Center. There is a folklore that while the Pandavas were in exile, the thirsty Bhima dug a well in Patu and set up a Shivling next to it and worshiped it.

How to go
There is also a direct bus service from Rajkot as well as National Highway 8 if you want to take a private vehicle. So the road is very good.
