It is decided to follow the subsequent procedure considering the directions of the way to give the effect of horizontal reservation given in each category. As far as women reserves are concerned, an equivalent category of reserved seats i.e. Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) seats are going to be reserved for them in Horizontal Reservation.

That is, women within the category of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Socially and Educationally Backward Classes within the Horizontal Reservation won't be ready to leave their category and compete within the mutual reserved category. additionally, women candidates of general class won't be ready to compete against the reserved category but the names in Mercury-2 regarding the seats which aren't for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Socially and Educationally Backward Classes among the horizontal reservations.

There is no reservation for posts in the General Category, and horizontal reservation in favor of women in the General Category is available to be filled up from amongst all women irrespective of their caste status ....... 3.
