MYBYK hubs have been set up at 100 locations including all BRTS stations
People are trying a variety of measures to maintain fitness in the Corona epidemic, with cycling becoming a favorite, especially among people. People in the city are now turning to cycling to boost immunity power. People are seen cycling on the road early in the morning or at night. Most people are cycling on the city’s riverfront. In order to maintain the fitness of the people in the city of Ahmedabad, a cheap and convenient cycling facility has been set up at home. The project of AMDA BIKE (MYBYK) has been implemented by the Municipal Corporation keeping in view the traffic problem, air pollution and fitness. 20000 Ahmedabadis are using MYBYK bicycles. MYBYK hubs have been set up at 100 locations, including all BRTS stations in the city. Every day 1800 people are using MYBYK bicycles.
A nominal rent bicycles through the application
since the year 2014 had earned the founder of MYBYK Soni told DivyaBhaskar he started MYBYK. In collaboration with the Municipal Corporation, MYBYK project was implemented in 40 places at the end of January 2020, under which 1200 bicycles have been placed in 100 places including all BRTS stations, Sindhu Bhavan Road, Sabarmati Riverfront in the city today. Every month 20000 citizens are taking advantage of MYBYK. People can avail this facility through MYBYK's application. Bicycles can be rented only through the application. The rent has also been kept negligible. There is a charge of two rupees per hour. Rs. 199 and monthly Rs. 749 has been rented. Since January 2020, citizens have been using bicycles or e-scooters to travel from BRTS bus station to office or home.

How to get MYBYK Cycle
- First of all to download MYBYK app from Google Play Store.
- Select the nearest MYBYK location.
- Select MYBYK Hub and select the bike number in the app.
- You can choose the plan as per the requirement and choose the hourly, weekly or monthly plan.
- Manually press the link to lock the bicycle and press the button in the app to unlock.
