The government has provided relief to people suffering from unemployment due to the Koro epidemic. It has been decided to allow scanning copy of documents like online process and support as well as bank account details for making claims under Atal Vima Vyakti Kalyan Yojana. If a beneficiary cannot upload the document at the time of online claim, he / she will have to submit his / her print outs.

The condition of submission of claim from

A statement issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment said, “Analyzing the response of the beneficiaries of the scheme, it was found that the condition of filing a claim in the affidavit form gives inconvenience to the claimants. Therefore, this condition has been deleted.

earlier, the government had doubled under the unemployment benefits paid until 24 March to 31 December 2020. In other words, those who lost their jobs were offered a 50% benefit of three months' average salary, up from 25% previously. The Atal Vima Kalyan Yojana run by ESIC has been extended till June 30, 2021 to benefit the workers.

What is the plan?
Allowances were given to those who were unemployed under this scheme. Unemployed person can get this allowance for 3 months. He can claim 50% of the average salary for 3 months. Aga used to get the benefit after 90 days of being unemployed, which has now been reduced to 30 days.
