Also, after the announcement of curfew in Ahmedabad from 9 pm tonight to 6 am on Monday, there are rumors that there will be a lockdown. Arriving for Ambaji Darshan, Chief Minister Rupani told reporters that there was no plan to impose a lockdown in Gujarat. This is just a rumor. He also said that curfew was imposed in Ahmedabad as a precautionary measure as the number of corona cases was on the rise.
There will be a curfew in Ahmedabad for 57 hours.
After 112 days in Ahmedabad, from 20th to 9 pm. A 57-hour curfew has been announced until 6 a.m. Monday, the 23rd. The curfew will then continue from Monday night from 9pm to 6am. During this time only milk and medicine and essentials will be available and all the rest will be closed. Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar Gupta announced a night curfew at 5:30 pm and a 57-hour curfew at 10 pm. As a result, the situation in Ahmedabad has worsened. People who have been out of town during the vacation will rush to return to the city on Friday. In addition, traffic will be completely closed during Saturday-Sunday.
The curfew will end at 6 am on Monday but will resume from midnight, meaning the curfew will remain in place from Monday until further notice in Ahmedabad. Which will be in force from 9pm to 6am.
The 60-hour curfew in Ahmedabad on Saturdays and Sundays is enough for Ahmedabad city only. Work will continue as usual in all other cities of the state. The government has taken this decision to prevent the spread of the ever-spreading corona.
Announcing the important decisions taken after a meeting with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel in Ahmedabad city over the last one week regarding the Corona transition, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta said 400 more beds would be provided at the Cancer and Kidney Hospital in the compound of Asarwa Civil Hospital. Sola Civil will be provided with 400 extra beds.
While 100 beds have been arranged in Gandhinagar Civil for patients from areas near Gandhinagar. Thus, 900 beds have been set up in government hospitals as well as 400 more beds in private hospitals. However, he claimed that 2237 government hospitals and 400-bed private hospitals were currently vacant.
