 The Japanese Embassy in India on Friday shared official photos of the Bullet Train E5 Series Shinkansen. The distance between the two cities will be cut in just 2 hours after the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train starts. 508 km This long high-speed rail corridor was approved by the Government of India 5 years ago.


Some changes will be made in the train so that its rolling stock in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail project can be used as trains and wagons used in the railways. This train will accelerate the Indian railway system. The project initially gained momentum in Gujarat but slowed down in Maharashtra due to some difficulties at the ground level.




Recently, the Railway Board's CEO-Chairman V. That. Yadav said bridges and tunnels were being built by Indian contractors while signal, telecom and rolling stock were being built by Japanese companies.

In the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, Japan is providing 80 per cent funding by giving a loan of Rs 79,000 crore at 0.1 per cent interest. The repayment period of this loan will be 50 years and the moratorium period will be 15 years.
