Police raided the Dragon Fly Club near Mumbai Airport around 2.30 pm on Monday. Cases have been registered against 27 celebrities and seven staff members, including cricketer Suresh Raina, under sections 188, 269 and 34 of the IPC. Many celebrities were present at the club. All have been released after arrest.
Cricketer Suresh Raina, singer Guru Randhawa, Suzanne Khan (Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife) were present during the raid. A senior singer also escaped from the back gate during the raid, police sources said. The name of the king is also coming up in this.
According to information received, a team of DCP Jain, PI Yadav (Godvi Police Station) raided the Dragon Fly Club at JW Marriott. Lockdown rules are still in force in the state. Under these rules, any kind of party or public event after 11 pm is prohibited. The party had 19 people from Delhi. Others were from Punjab and South Mumbai. Most of them drank alcohol.

Section 3 of the Epidemic Act of 1897 mentions that if anyone breaks the rules or violates the rules / laws of the government, they are penalized under Section 188 of the Indian Law. This clause can be applied in the same way if the order given by a government employee is also violated. If you are aware of the orders given by the government and yet you break those rules then legal action is taken under section 188.
