Samsung TV Plus service coming in other markets including India, customers will be able to access free content

Good news for Samsung TV users: Samsung TV Plus service coming in other markets including India, customers will be able to access free content

The company claims that the content service is available for more than 6 crore smart TVs
The service is currently live in a total of 12 countries, including Austria, Canada, and France

Samsung TV Plus, a web content service for Samsung TV users, is reaching out to Mexico, Sweden and several other European countries in 2021, including India. The South Korean company has announced it.

There are currently live services in 12 countries

Its area has also recently expanded to Australia and Brazil. That means the service is currently live in a total of 12 countries.

Free content is available for Samsung TV users

Unlike platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix that require a paid subscription, the Samsung TV Plus is available for free to Samsung Smart TV users.
The ad-supported content service is pre-installed on the Samsung Smart TV model in 2016 and is also part of select Samsung Galaxy smartphones such as the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy S20 in the US.

The service is available for over 6 crore smart TVs

These include channels such as ET Live, People-TV, Nick Pluto TV, CBS, ABC News Live, and USA Today in the United States. It also includes shows like Kitchen Nightmare, Baywatch and Wipe-Out Extra. In addition, Samsung claims that the content service is available for more than 60 million smart TVs.

Samsung is set to bring additional functionality and support for an additional Galaxy model next month with new expanded plans. Its goal is to expand the Samsung TV Plus.

"We've made TV a center of entertainment," said Saline Han, senior vice president of the visual display business at Samsung Electronics. With our latest area in the new market and content line-up, we hope that TV Plus has become a premium home-destination for Samsung Smart TV users worldwide.
